We don’t have a fixed list of volunteer roles waiting to be filled. We’d rather start with you – your interests, your skills, the time you have available, and what you care about. From that conversation, we’ll work out together where you can make the most difference volunteering in Kilburn.
Find your place
Some roles put you right in the middle of the community – setting up and helping with events and activities, welcoming people through the door, or getting your hands dirty in the garden. Others happen quietly in the background – writing, designing, researching, keeping things organised. Both matter equally.

The PlayHut Cafe is a warm, welcoming space at the heart of what we do. Cafe volunteers help create the hospitable atmosphere that makes KSOM feel like home.

Turning up is one of the most important things you can do for KSOM. Every person who walks through the door helps our Kilburn community grow – and gets something for themselves in return.
Most activities are free and open to everyone in Kilburn and NW6. No booking needed for most sessions – just come along.
